A. Gift For You Said: one piece ( Sep. 5th 2009 )
This game was really fun. With all the characters and everything else. Best one piece game ever. and all of the bosses and also survival mode and everything else was really amazing.
S. Rausch Said: Really Good Game ( Jul. 18th 2009 )
Overall everything about this game is done pretty well. There are parts of the game that can be very frustrating and my biggest complaint is the way the game forces you on such a strict path and offers next to no help in guiding you on where to go next. I found myself in several instances running around aimlessly looking for some stupid bug or fish or plant that I missed in order to make some special item to activate the next orb.
The other issue I had (though this is a fan issue, and not something wrong with the game or gameplay itself) was the voice acting. Every loyal fan to the show will say without a doubt that the japanese voice actors are beyond superior to the american ones, and not having the option of switching languages is a major thorn in my side. Most of the time I end up playing with the volume muted because i find myself reaching for the nearest stabbing weapon every time Luffy speaks.
If you can look past the voices and the fact that you will spend a large ammount of time surfing FAQs online, this is definately worth it. The combat makes up for a lot of the other flaws. GOMU GOMU NO GATTLING GUN!!! Oh yeah...I went there.
C. Lambert Said: good if you like one piece ( Mar. 12th 2009 )
great game, very entertaining and funny but if your not a one piece fan its probably not the game for you.
Patrick Guine Said: One Piece :) ( Feb. 3rd 2009 )
This game is really amazing... In fact as a game it's not really a phenomenon, but the "adventure", I mean the universe is so magic, so wonderful, that the "defaults" of the game desappear...Of course it's a personnal opinion, and some people can thing this game isn't really good, but it must be considered as a long (about 80 hours to complete 100%... but I'm not really gifted :( ) adventure game. And they are so rare on Wii... It gives a real impression of liberty. In conlusion, I really like this one piece, and I think it's a great homage to Oda's work, but it's up to each gamer... ;)
PS : Sorry for all the mistakes I've made...
Jet_Gatling Said: A really decent One Piece video game. ( Sep. 26th 2008 )
I was so excited when I heard that One Piece: Unlimited Adventure was coming to US soil. The areas did require a lot of backtracking to make items and some were needed to get to the bosses. The bosses presented a good challenge, especially Whitebeard. Requirements for 100% are a pain to complete and after you get 100% the only thing you can really do is max out their HP and SP. A good One Piece game and kudos to the FUNi VA's for their voices. Too bad the sequel may never come to the US. I've played it and it is so cool.
